Open Nowish
Customer opens Nowish app or website. Location is detected automatically.
Browse or Ask
Browse nearby deals on the map, or tap "Ask for a deal" to broadcast a request to nearby businesses.
Claim Deal
Select a deal and tap Claim. Get a unique QR code or redemption token instantly.
Show QR at Counter
Walk into the business and show your QR code to staff. They scan it to verify and apply the deal.
Deal Redeemed
Staff confirms the deal. Customer gets the discount. Done. The whole process takes under 5 minutes.
QR codes expire 30 minutes after claiming. Customer must redeem within this window.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Common Scenarios
Quick solutions for common situations.
Customer can't claim a deal
Check: Is the customer signed in? Are deal slots available? Has the deal expired? Is customer within range?
QR code not scanning
Solution: Enter the code manually in the admin panel verification box. Check if the code has expired (30 min limit).
Deal shows expired
Reason: Deals expire at midnight IST daily and restart at 12 PM. Lunch deals expire at 4 PM. Dinner deals at 11 PM.
Business not showing on map
Check: Is the business profile active? Are coordinates set correctly? Has the business posted at least one deal?
